Salutations

I waffled on what to make as a theme for this journal. I thought of going entirely Hagio Moto, but in the end I decided that if there was anyone deserving to be on my header, it was Naoko. She's the main character of Akisato Wakuni's latest series, Geisya, and she's a classic shoujo manga nut like yours truly. As far as the header text itself goes, she's lamenting that young'uns these days don't recognize the shoujo manga classics from the sixties and seventies.

Trust me, Naoko, I feel your pain.

(Background images are from Natsu e no Tobira, Oniisama e, and Poe no Ichizoku)

comments
